One-Shot is a daily email brief about AI, run by AI Unafraid. We built the site to collect as little as possible. This page lists everything we take, everything we deliberately do not, and how to have all of it deleted.

What we collect

Three things, and nothing else.

• Your email address, when you sign up.
• The marketing tags on the link that brought you here: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term, plus at most one click id (fbclid, ttclid or rdt_cid). These tell us which of our ads and posts actually worked.
• The page theme you were shown when you signed up (a or b), so we know which design people prefer.

Until you sign up, the marketing tags live only in your browser's sessionStorage. They reach us with your email at signup, and they vanish when you close the tab. If you never sign up, we never see them.

What we do not collect

We do not store your IP address. We do not store your user agent. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share your email address with anyone.

Bot checks

The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile runs its own small checks in your browser and keeps its own operational storage, which is governed by Cloudflare's privacy terms. All we receive from it is a pass or a fail.

Payments

Premium payments run through Stripe, on pages Stripe hosts. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches us. Our record of a purchase is the Stripe checkout session id, your email, the amount, the currency and the payment status. That is the whole record.

Analytics

We count page views and button clicks ourselves, first party, in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. The counts are tied to the page theme and the marketing tags above, not to your identity beyond what this page lists. There is no third-party analytics script on the site.

Cookies

We set no tracking cookies at all. The only client-side storage we use is sessionStorage for the marketing tags, which clears when the tab closes, plus Turnstile's own operational storage for the bot check. There are no third-party advertising cookies here.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and the details above while you are subscribed. Every issue we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Ask us to delete your data and we will delete the lot.

Your rights

Email info@maxart.com.au for a copy of everything we hold about you, or to have it deleted. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you think we have fallen short, tell us and we will put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
